About Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek

Mardi Himal Trekking is a perfect choice for the trekkers to experience the core wilderness and capture breathtaking mountain views include Annapurna massif, Mardi Himal, Himchuli, Gangapurna, Nilgiri, Ganesh Himal, and Manaslu. Moreover, the lush rhododendron, rhythmic waterfalls, and classical ethnic settlements will mesmerize us.

Mardi Himal Trekking begins either from Phedi or Kande after 1.30 hrs drive from Pokhara. To go Pokhara from Kathmandu, we either drive or fly. If we choose to fly, it takes 30 minutes and our drive takes 7-8 hours. Phedi is the beginning point of many other treks like Annapurna Base Camp, Ghandrku Circuit Trekking and Australian Camp Trekking. We begin our hiking via beautiful traditional settlements and lush rhododendron. First, we ascend to Dhampus. Dhampus offers us spectacular views of Annapurna and Machhapuchhre ( Fishtail). We further ascend to Forest Camp via dramatic landscapes. The trek goes through the miraculous rhododendron forest at the initial portion and eventually, the setting turns on the rugged trail dominated by the hard rock formation. We, ultimately, trek to Mardi Himal Base Camp via High Camp. The Mardi Himal Base Camp offers us miraculous Annapurna range including mesmerizing Machhapuchhre. On backtracking, we trek to Siding village and drive back to Pokhara. From Pokhara, we again take a drive or a short domestic flight to end our Mardi Himal Trek in Kathmandu.
